A powerful set of rules can be put into place, which range from spam filters to actions written for specific mails and accounts. It works as a POP3 Exchange connector and also with IMAP accounts. SmartPOP2Exchange V6 can test incoming messages for viruses using your installed anti virus software. An infected message will automatically be deleted from server. SmartPOP2Exchange V6 is able to use any Virus software as long as it includes a "On Access Scanner", that checks all files written to the hard disk. Setting up your POP3 Exchange and IMAP accounts couldn't be any easier or as effective.
Additional Features:
  • SmartPOP2Exchange V6 works with any SMTP server. As it uses the SMTP protocol to send/deliver the mails to the Server it just has to be able to communicate to port 25 of the SMTP server.
  • SmartPOP2Exchange V6 can be installed on any PC in your network. As it uses the SMTP protocol to send/deliver the mails to the Exchange/SMTP Server it just has to be able to communicate to port 25 of SMTP / Exchange Server.
  • SmartPOP2Exchange V6 has a very detailed log file and it only deletes mails from the POP3/IMAP after it has been successfully delivered to the SMTP server. If any problem occurs, it simply leaves the mail from the POP3/IMAP server until it has been delivered successfully.
  • You can use one POP3/IMAP account for multiple users. This setup is known as a "catch-all" account. Check the option "Redirect messages...." on the POP3 / IMAP account setup form to automatically forward the emails to the appropriate accounts. You also can create rules for every SMTP user to declare which emails should be forwarded to which address.
