This dialog box allows you to specify the details of the email notification.
Assistant:

Type in your email account settings. ServerSentinel supports SSL and TLS secured authentication. The standard port for sending emails is 25 when no secured authentication is used and 465 for SSL (Secure Socket Layer).

In the second window you can edit the message template. Dependent on which text field is in focus, you can enter the variables by clicking on the menus.

Here you can add mail templates. Templates are usually placeholders for sensor data to be listed in the E-Mail. Placeholders for sensor data are recognized by the % symbol. Which placeholder delivers which data can be found in the subchapter "Configurable Sensors". The placeholder [$SensorData$] from the example, delivers all the from sensors delivered data.

Here you can name the action. It is recommended that you use a self-explanatory name.

Recipient

There must be at least one recipient in the Recipient field.

Recipient BCC
|
Here you can provide blind copies of the message to recipients.(optional)

Recipient CC

Here you can provide carbon copies of the message to recipients.(optional)

SMTP Password
|
Should you need a password for the used SMTP server, then provide it here for the action.

SMTP Server
|
In the event that you need to provide the SMTP server information here for the sending of E-Mails.

SMTP Username
|
Should you need a username for the used SMTP server, then provide it here for the action. .
