This chapter describes the examples that come with this package and can be imported.
Have a look at particular configuration scenarios to get a better understanding of what is possible with ServerSentinel.
Currently there are four configurations:
| • | Setting up a simple HTTP check environment |
| • | DNS probing - two ways of performing requests to the domain name system |
| • | Harddisk monitoring - cleanup a temp folder if it's size is getting too large |
| • | A more advanced WMI Example that monitors the IIS Service on a remote machine, then eventually restarts its components as a failover |
It is recommended to stop the service through the settings before loading the examples configuration.
