ServerSentinel will work on any computer with a x86- or x64-Windows operating system.

Please ensure that all available updates and patches have been installed. |
| • | Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5. If the components are not available on the System, Setup will automatically install them. |
| • | Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or better |
| • | At least 20 MB available disk space. |
| • | 800 x 600 or higher resolution with at least 256 colors |
To install ServerSentinel execute (depending on your version) and follow the instructions.
| 1. | First choose the language in which ServerSentinel should be installed in. Then click "Next". |
| 2. | When the welcome screen appears, click "Next". |
| 3. | Please thoroughly read our license agreement and confirm your acceptance. Click "Next". |
| 4. | Choose a directory where ServerSentinel should be installed. Ensure that you have enough storage space on your computer.Click "Next". |
| 5. | Choose a folder in the Start menu where ServerSentinel should appear.Click "Next". |
| 6. | Afterwards you can setup the user rights for the ServerSentinel service. You should establish the rights so that service becomes all of the right to perform the desired functions. It is recommended that you use the same rights that you use for ServerSentinel. The benefit is that when a sensor test works there, then it will also work in the service. |
| 7. | The setup program copies all of the necessary files onto your hard drive and creates a new program group in your Start menu. When you click "Finished" the installation program closes. You can then start ServerSentinel or read the program documentation. |
| 8. | After you started the full version of ServerSentinel for the first time, you will need to input your password. This was sent per E-Mail after you ordered. If you have misplaced your password, you can easily find it in your personalized customer area on the JAM-Software-Homepage. In case you cannot log into your personalized area, contact our Support. |
ServerSentinel can be removed from your system using the Software applet in the Control Panel of Windows.
