Overview over the graphic user interface (GUI)

 

Welcome to ServerSentinel! This chapter will introduce you to a brief entry into the user interface from ServerSentinel and help you to quickly find your way.

When you start the software for the first time after installation, you will find yourself automatically in the main window, as displayed below. The upper portion lists in an overview the configured sensors as well as their statuses and availability. The bottom half shows the collected data either in a graphic overview as time diagram (see screenshot) or presents the raw data in list form, dependent on which tab is selected.

 

 

A direct connection to the Remote Desktop of the monitored server can now be setup over the context menu.
