If "FTP" is selected as backup type, the creation dialog for a FTP backup will arise. Here are some additional settings to be made.
The properties dialog is omitted because it looks the same, except from the buttons at the bottom of the dialog.
Destination path |
Here you can insert the directory to where the backup has to be performed to.

Server |
Type in the IP address or server DNS name, which you want to backup to.

Port |
Specify the port the FTP server is listening to. The FTP default port is 21.

Login |
The user account you want to use for backup.
|
Password |
The password which belongs to the specified user account.
|
Use Passive Mode |
Check this option if you know that the FTP Server uses passive mode for communication, otherwise leave it blank (active mode is used per default). |
Test connection
After you typed in the configuration data of the backup job you can test if a connection to the given server with the login data can be established successfully. A dialog will show you the result of the test.
