If you activate 'Run as a tray icon' in the General Options dialog, SmartBackup will add a icon to your system tray. Right-clicking this icon let you choose to open the General Options dialog or to refresh every backup job without opening the main screen.

 

 

If you close the main window by clicking the 'X' button in the upmost right corner of the window, the application will not end but minimize to the tray. You can activate the application by double-clicking the tray icon or selecting the first entry of the context menu.

 

You may do the refreshing of your backup jobs automatically in the background as well, if you activate the option 'Run as a tray icon'.
