Journal

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The Journal collects phone calls and caller's data into a single table.

Like other tables in MS Office, the Journal is completely customizable for your use.You can alter the order and the kind of information displayed, just as you like it.

A simple right-click on the title bar of the Journal opens a list with displayable columns. By setting check marks, you can choose, which column should be omitted (no check mark set) and which should be displayed (check mark set).  SmartCallMonitor stores these settings, so the selected columns will be displayed, whenever you start the program. Please note, that the same result can be obtained, by using the command Columns in the Views menu.

The columns order in the Journal can be changed as well. Just as you are used to doing in other Office tables, just drag the column title (hold left mouse button) to the place where you want it to be.

Column width can be adjusted in the usual way by dragging the border line of a column to the left or right.

Current entries in the Journal (i.e. calls, that were logged in the current SmartCallMonitor session) provide the commands of the command bar via a context menu. Reloaded Journal entries from former SmartCallMonitor sessions can't provide this function yet. Additionally, the command bar will be grayed out if you select a reloaded entry.

All data about a selected entry in the list will also be available in the Detail View.
