Menu > Content > Toolbar

The 'Attachment' toolbar is available if you choose the attachment section in step '3. Content'.
The tab provides the functionality to insert a file or directory, delete and compress attachments.
In addition you can choose how to handle missing files. Choose if the mail in this case should be sent or not.

Add

Add File

adds a file to your e-mail.
Personalized attachments can also be added using this button.

Note:

Personalized attachments are only available in the Enterprise Edition.

Add Directory

adds a directory to the message.

Attachment Operations

Remove

removes the selected attachments from this mail.

Compress

if this option is set, the selected attachments will be compressed via ZIP while sending.

This feature is only available in the Enterprise Edition.

Missing File

Do not Send Mail

if this option is checked, SmartSerialMail does not send the mail if an attachment is missing

Ignore and send Mail

if this option is checked, SmartSerialMail sends the mail even if an attachment is missing

Placeholder

Listfield

inserts a predefined placeholder, which refer to the columns of the current recipients list, at the position of the cursor.

This can be in the mail content, subject, attachment, and so on.

Quickparts

inserts a quick part at the position of the cursor.

This can be in the mail content, subject, attachment, and so on.

Profile Value

inserts a predefined placeholder, which refer to the profile, at the position of the cursor.

This can be in the mail content, subject, attachment, and so on.

Functions

inserts a predefined placeholder, which refer to functional values, e.g. date or time, at the position of the cursor.

This can be in the mail content, subject, attachment, and so on.

Links

inserts a predefined placeholder to subscribe or unsubscribe the newsletter

To use the placeholders "Subscription" and "Unsubscription", you need to adjust the settings for Returns.

Conditional Placeholder

You have to enter the value to match, the content for this case, and a default content for not matching entries.
