Menu > Quick Parts > Toolbar

After inserting a table in your content, the 'Table Tools' toolbar is visible.
In this tab you can modify the table, insert and delete rows and columns, split or merge cells and change the alignment of text or objects in the table.

Table

Show Borders

shows the border of the selected table if there is no visible border

Modify Table

opens an Options dialog to modify the selected table

Rows and Columns

Delete

delete the selected row or column

Insert Row Above

insert a row above the selected

Insert Row Below

insert a row below the selected

Insert Column Right

insert a column on the right side of the selected

Insert Column Left

insert a column on the left side of the selected

Merge

Merge Cells

merge the selected cells

Split Cells

split the selected cell

Text Layout

In this group you can choose how your text and images should be arranged in the table.

Therefore you have different possibilities:

•	Top and Left

•	Top and Center

•	Top and Right

•	Middle and Left

•	Middle and Center

•	Middle and Right

•	Bottom and Left

•	Bottom and Center

•	Bottom and Right
