Export submenu

The Export submenu allows you to export the collected data in different kinds of format.
You can find it as a submenu of the File menu and in the directory tree context menu.

Copy to Clipboard

Copies the directory tree information to the clipboard in text format.

Save to Text File

Saves the directory tree information to a tab-separated text file.

Save to Excel File

Exports the directory tree information to an MS Excel 97 compatible file.

Save to HTML File

Allows you to save a report as HTML-file which can be viewed with any HTML-browser later. HTML-files are easier to read than tabbed text files and don't require a special application like MS Excel. The HTML-file will be UTF8-encoded and thus includes Unicode characters. In the Options dialog, a stylesheet file can be set for the HTML export.

Save to PDF File

Saves a report for the selected directory tree to a pdf file. The format of the report will be the same as in the printed report (also, the settings will be the same).

Save Report as XML

See "Save Report as XML" in the File menu.
Note: only available in the directory tree context menu.

Print Report

A detailed report of the currently selected folder is printed.
Note: only available in the directory tree context menu.

Copy Files to Clipboard

Copies a list of all files located in any depth in the selected directory to the clipboard.

Customize

Configure the shown fields, their order and many other options for any export type.
