Select Directory

Shows a dialog that lets you choose a folder for scanning. The results of this scan will be stored in the connected database.

Load XML Report

Opens an XML report that has been saved earlier for reviewing earlier scan results.
XML Reports generated by TreeSize Professional V4 are compatible with SpaceObServer and can be loaded as well.

Save Report As XML

Saves the information of the current file system branch scan to an XML file. This file can be loaded to SpaceObServer again at a later time. SpaceObServer ships with an XSLT file that formats the data inside the XML file for pretty printing in an browser. Please note that the information about single files is not saved to the XML because this would increase the size of the XML files too much. Just the information about folders is included in the file.
XML reports generated by  SpaceObServer can also be used with TreeSize Professional V5.

Note:        There is no way to store XML reports back to a connected database. The XML reports do not contain all the information needed in the database (Only folder sizes are stored in XML Reports, no file sizes)

Export

Export the collected data in different formats. See chapter Export submenu.

Print Report

A detailed report of the current folder is printed. (See Printing).

Print Chart

Print the chart shown right beside the directory tree is printed.

Exit

Closes SpaceObServer.
