This feature is only available in the "Enterprise Edition" of SpaceObServer!
With SpaceObServer you can scan by default any shares that are mapped to your Windows operating system. So if you map a Linux or Unix share via Samba to your Windows system. SpaceObServer can scan this share, just like any Windows shares.
However, SpaceObServer can also communicate with Linux and Unix servers via the network protocol SSH (Secure Shell). This means that SpaceObServer can scan Linux and windows shares, without the need to map integrate them into your Windows environment!
