The Menus > View Menu

Toolbars	Allows you to turn certain toolbars on or off .
Show List of Scans	Show/Hide an overview of all scanned root directories below the directory tree. (See "List of Scans")
Right Pane	This submenu switches between different tab sheets of the SpaceObServer main window.
Decimals	Choose the number of decimals to display when SpaceObServer displays or prints values.

You can choose different types of values to display in the directory tree on the left side:

Size	Shows the size of the files in a folder including all subfolders.
Allocated Space	This will show the amount of space that is allocated on disk for this folder, again including all subfolders.
Percent	Shows what percent of the parent folder's size each folder occupies.
Wasted Space	Shows the amount of space that is wasted by the file system for the storage of all files in this folder, including all subfolders.
Number of Files	Shows the number of files in a directory branch.

You can change the unit of displayed sizes by using these menu items. The number of decimals can be changed in the Options dialog.

Values in Byte	Show all size values in plain Bytes.
Values in KB	Show all size values in Kilobytes.
Values in MB	Show all size values in Megabytes.
Values in GB	Show all size values in Gigabytes.
Values in TB	Show all size values in Terabytes.
Automatic Unit	Use for each file/folder an appropriate size unit (KB/MB/GB/TB) automatically.

Some other view options:

Show Details Flat	Activate this option to show all files of the selected folder, including files of all subfolders, in the Details view. This option is very useful if a File Search is activated. Note: This option may cause a very long Details list, which could take quite a long time to build up.
Hide Empty Folders	This option will exclude empty folders from the File System Tree.
Show Checkboxes	Activate this option to show check boxes in the Details view and the File System Tree. Check files, or entire directories to move, archive or delete them by the Move Checked Items option of the Tools menu.
