The "SpaceObServer Remote Client" allows you to access all SpaceObServer scan results from different workstations in the entire network.
Due to the integration of the SpaceObServer’s user interface into the Remote Client, it is possible to easily access already archived data without the need of a new scan. Simply connect to the same database in which the scan results of SpaceObServer are stored. Results will be available within a few seconds.
All options of SpaceObServer in regards of visualization or export functionalities are as well supported through the use of the Remote Client. Additionally the Remote Client provides functionality to start scans remotely, as well as editing scan settings, depending on the user’s appropriate permission to do so.
Through the integrated OLE Automation interface it is also possible to connect individual programs as well as own scripts, e.g. for the automatic support of exports. There is no support for the scanning service ("SpaceObServer Agent") as it is not part of the Remote Client, and thus points out a main difference between the client and the SpaceObServer Standard and Enterprise edition.
