TreeSize Professional is a powerful and flexible harddisk space manager for Windows 200X / XP / Vista (32 and 64 Bit). Find out which folders are the largest on your drives and recover megabytes on your disks. TreeSize Professional shows you the size, allocated and wasted space, the number of files, 3D charts, the last access date, the file owner and permissions, the NTFS compression rate and much more information of several folders or drives you choose. It also lets you search drives, entire servers or the entire network for old, big, temporary and duplicate files.
The search results can be moved, deleted or exported. The application has an intuitive Explorer-like user interface, it is fast and multithreaded and supports Unicode and scheduled scans. You can print detailed reports or export the collected data to Excel and to an HTML, XML or text file. TreeSize Professional can be started from the context menu of every folder or drive. For continuous analyzing of disk usage on your (file) servers we recommend our product SpaceObServer.
We have followed the request of many private users and have created a lower priced Personal Edition of TreeSize, which has the same features as the Professional Edition, except that it does not support network drives, Windows Server systems, command line options and exporting the data.
"'This program rocks!'
I can't say enough good things about this software. No learning curve, no bugs, no tweaks. It's very intuitive and behaves exactly how you would expect. What's great about this software is the return on investment is immediate. I am the IT manager where I work and we have about 50 users. The backups kept growing and growing. I budgeted for a LTO-2 autoloader but our company has been a little short on cash lately. I downloaded this software and entered the users network directory on our server. As Emeril would say, 'BAM!'. Instant answers to my questions: Who's hogging all the disc space? Who's storing their family photo album and MP3 collection on the server? It so easy too. It fully supports UNC. (\serverusers) It's very fast and has no problems working over the network. The list of small utilities I have purchased in the last few years has been very short. I'm not what you would call a utility freak. TreeSize is on my shortlist. I purchased TreeSize Pro and am now a happily registered user."

"Please note that after an exhaustive search, I could find no other utility that would give me that information other than polling each directory individually and manually."
