JAM Software adheres to the highest privacy standards available world-wide.

At the time of this writing, the following set of formal rules were applicable to privacy and the way JAM Software conducts business:

  • Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG) - text is in German language
    German law on the protection of personal data
  • EU Data Protection Directive
    Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24. October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
  • OECD Guidelines on the Protection of Privacy and Transborder Flows of Personal Data

Additionally and implementing these formal rules, JAM Software commits to the following set of rules:

JAM Software offers secure communication channels through proven, strong public key encryption technology.
Private and personal data like contact and registration information is stored securely on strongly encrypted and access-controlled media.
JAM Software does not provide any private or personal data to third parties unless this is absolutely mandatory in order to be able to conduct business.
No unsolicited commercial email is sent to advertise our services.
Newsgroups guidelines are respected.
