TreeSize

Question / Problem

How can I see the file that has increased the space in the right hand window of a compare. CUrrently it only shows the folders and in the left hand window says FILE but when I click on the folder in the left hand window it does not list the files in the right hand window.

Answer / Solution

TreeSize stores data only on folder level, otherwise the mount of data would be too large. This is why it can 't display the the size increase of files.

We also offer another disk space manager called SpaceObServer which is designed for large servers and continuous reporting. It regularly collects the file system information using a background agent and stores it in a SQL database, including size development. It uses less RAM than TreeSize Pro and the reporting capabilities are faster and more flexible because it is built on a database and collects data on file level. SpaceObServer offers advanced scripting capabilities through OLE Automation. If you are interested, please visit: http://www.jam-software.com/spaceobserver/
