Virtual Treeview

Treeview Control for Your Project in Delphi

Flexible Tree Management for Your Software App

More than a decade of development have created one of the most flexible and advanced Delphi treeview controls available today! Virtual Treeview does not read the data it manages except its size, not even the captions of a node. Everything is retrieved from the application via events or descendants via overridden methods.

Virtual Treeview has already proven its concept as well as its great usability in many commercial products and freeware projects.

Extremely Fast & Small Memory Footprint
Adding one million nodes takes less than a second thanks to the virtual paradigm. Only 56 bytes are needed per node by the TVirtualStringTree in Win32 builds.
Windows and VCL Theme Support
VCL themes and The Windows Explorer theme are supported out-of-the-box, along with high-dpi-scaling.
Highly Customizable
Almost all aspects of the controls can be customized and painting can be intercepted at all stages.

Visual Tour

One of the reason for using Virtual Treeview was memory usage. After analyzing a website you can easily have 100000 URLs (much more actually) you need to represent visually.

Virtual Treeview is used for displaying the tree as well as the lists in the main window in TreeSize.

Lists and trees are displayed using Virtual Treeview in our freeware for ultrafast search UltraSearch.

Essentials for Handling Virtual Treeview

Although we have taken Virtual TreeView under our wing, the control remains open source. Would you like to contribute? You are welcome! We always look for help, not only for the development of the Virtual Treeview control itself, but also for maintaining the sample projects, the help or the wiki.
